It is functional and easy to operated. The edge pull is very easy to use and works well. A word of caution for do-it-yourselfers. Be extremely careful on cutting the notch out of your door for the installation. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the screw holes even lined up. Before you buy, determine if you want one with a lock on it (in which case you need a place for the lock to latch onto when closed). If you do not need a lock, choose this one, it just has the handle you can lever up by pushing on the top.
